How We Feed Our Great Danes
We chose to feed our great dane a natural raw meat diet. This is both healthy for them inside and out and our great danes love it. We want to ensure optimal health in our danes as well as our litters. Our puppies are also feed a raw meat diet, but the ingredients, instead of whole, are ground down to make a paste with goat milk is added.
Step 1
We go to our local butcher and gather the beef trimmings and fat essential to our great dane health. Then we go to Walmart and by a 10lb bag of chicken leg quarters, as well as other *filler foods.
Step 2
We take out the chicken leg quarter and and split it in half. The thigh portion is for the mornings, and the leg portion is for the evenings.

Step 3
Then we take about a lb of beef trimmings and fat and add it to the bowl.

Step 4
Our next step is the cook the organic potatoes in the microwave. Our great danes get a whole potato a day divided into two feedings. The Potatoes are the med to small size.

Step 5
During the time the potatoes are being cooked, we make the all natural brown rice in the rice cooker.

Step 6
Get take red apples and cut them in the fours. Our danes get a whole apple a day divided into feedings.

Step 7
We then take all the ingredients and add them to the bowl off to the doggies they go!

*we will mix up the fillers foods from time to time. We may substitute the potato for broccoli, spinach or carrots. We may substitute rice for beans, and will add plain yorgurt and an organ like liver, heart, or kidney 1-2 times a week.
